Oude Kerk, the oldest church in Amsterdam
Bang in the middle of Amsterdam’s Red Light district sits one of the oldest churches of the city. The Oude Kerk’s location may sound strange at first, but makes perfect sense for Amsterdam:)
Eric and I went over this afternoon for the World Photo Exhibit (more on that to come). The minute you walk in, you leave the craziness of the streets behind. It is a beautiful space with lovely stained glass windows.
It looks like the church hosts a number of events, so regardless if you are a visitor or living here, this is a good stop to add on your Amsterdam tour!

It’s a beautiful church.. Have been there..
Indeed! I like they have found creative ways to draw people in. It was such a good setting for the World Photo exhibition
